The Lodge Alley Inn is within walking distance of Charleston's historical area. Take a historic walking tour of the area guided by one of the knowledgeable staff members. The concierge can arrange for a horse drawn carriage ride around the city. Spend some time in the open air courtyard, or relax in the onsite reading room. Bike rentals and valet parking are available. A laundromat is available for guest convenience. Complimentary sherry and fresh baked cookies are served in the afternoon. Enjoy dinner in the restaurant at the end of the day.

Cozy STUDIO Units sleep 2 to 4 guests with a queen size bed. ONE BEDROOM Units sleep up to 4 guests with a queen size or king size bed and a sofa bed. TWO BEDROOM Units accommodate 4 to 6 guests with 2 queen size beds. Accommodations feature kitchens/kitchenettes with microwave ovens, dishwashers, and separate dining areas. Kitchenettes do not have a sink. Cable/satellite TV with DVD player and CD player is provided for guest convenience. Some units have fireplaces, and all units are air conditioned. Hair dryers are provided upon request.

The Lodge Alley Inn is set in historical Charleston. Take a step back in time and visit Boone Hall, a working plantation, or take any number of antebellum plantation tours. Spirit Line Cruises, with on board jazz music, gives a wonderful tour of Charleston from Cooper River. Charleston Stage, at the Dock Street Theater, the restored site of the first theatrical performance building, offers a nice assortment of available performances. The downtown area features unique shopping venues, include the English Patina, Inc., specializing in English and European antiques. End the day with a meal in one of the area's fine restaurants.
