In the activity center, guests can play pool, sign out books and games, or participate in a range of activities such as water aerobics, children's crafts, pool games, and special nights for adults only, teens only, and kids only. The Activities Director can give you information on golf, tours, fishing, boating, water sports, hiking, horseback riding, and shopping. Sea Crest Surf and Racquet Club offers crisp and comfortable ONE and TWO BEDROOM Villas to accommodate up to 6 or 8 people. All feature air conditioning, telephone, television, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, counter bar, sitting area, dining area and a deck. The One Bedroom Villa offers a private bedroom, sofa bed, and bunk beds for smaller children. The One Bedroom Loft adds a beautiful loft, sofa bed and twin daybeds, and features 1 ½ Baths. The Two Bedroom Unit provides sleeping accommodations for 8. The master bedroom has a king bed; the guestrooms have either a queen bed or twin beds; the living room has a sleeper sofa; and there are bunk beds for smaller children. These units have 2 or 2 1/2 baths. Despite its evolution into a prime resort area, much of Hilton Head Island's natural beauty and ecology remain as they were when first sighted by English sea captain William Hilton in 1663. Once the province of Sea Island cotton, indigo, sugar cane, rice, and other crops harvested in the days of antebellum plantations, the island is now famous for its beautiful beaches, golf, tennis, and wide variety of restaurants. Visitors can enjoy more than 250 Hilton Head restaurants, and more in nearby Bluffton and Daufuskie, offering every type of cuisine imaginable.
