The Green Buoy Resort was created with adults in mind for restful getaways and rejuvenation. To support and promote this atmosphere, we encourage parents to not bring younger children. Located in the Village of Onekama and directly across the street from Portage Lake Green Buoy Resort Includes several cottages & cabins, includes Grills, Picnic Tables, Firepit and an Outdoor Pool.

Accommodations include (The Chalet) which has a beachy feel with open ceilings, big windows and lake views. The main floor features the kitchen, dining, living and bathroom. The kitchen has a large island with bar stools next to the stick hockey game and smart tv (no cable). The main floor bath has a walk in shower and guest laundry. The THREE BEDROOMS are upstairs. The front bedroom has a queen bed and balcony, middle bedroom has double bed, back bedroom has a queen and a twin bed. Max 6 guests. (M22 Stone Cottage) features a queen size bed with new mattress, private bath has a walk in shower with a stone floor, small sitting area features comfy chair and electric fireplace for ambiance and heat. The kitchenette comes with a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave & toaster. Smart TV & WIFI. Access to courtyard firepit and outdoor pool in season. The cottage comes complete with a patio table/chairs a gas grill, grilling tools, smores ingredients, fans, and cozy blanket and games for rainy days. Perfect for a couple's getaway. (The Resorter Cabin) features a full kitchen including stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and cooking supplies, living room with a twin size pull out sofa. The queen size bed is a new zero gravity bed with a power base allowing the guest to elevate head and feet for ultimate comfort, a relaxing treat! The small private bath has a walk in shower and barn wood countertop. Smart TV no cable. Cabin has a picnic table, chairs and a charcoal grill (we provide charcoal). Guests have access to our outdoor pool and community firepit in season. (Cabana Cottage) is the end unit and has views of the courtyard and Portage Lake. This beachy cottage features a sitting area, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. A separate bedroom with a queen bed, private bath with shower. Smart tv, no cable. (The Boat House) features one queen bedroom with private bath, kitchenette/sitting area, smart tv and WIFI.

We are surrounded by nature's bounty of fresh water, sand and National Forest. Onekama boasts excellent fishing, water sports, skiing, lodging, restaurants, shopping and more. Our location is well suited for a day trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and Platte River canoeing. Both destinations will point you to the natural beauty of Lake Michigan. Mountain Bike the single track of St Pierre trail, hike Old Baldy dune, bird watch in the Arcadia Marsh, and then quench your thirst at the mineral springs or a local artesian well.
