This membership grants you as a First Club Member, assigned first class accommodations with the best possible view of the aqua blue waters that are an integral part of the Occidental Allegro resorts Network as well as all the First Club Privileges in some of the best destinations in the Caribbean such as in Aruba, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico as well as in Spain.

Allegro Playacar is located in Playa del Carmen, the small beach town opposite the coast of Cozumel. With the pleasant view of the beach, you can enjoy the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, perfect for practicing snorkeling and diving, as well as other activities that are at the resort, such as tennis, or sailing. After an afternoon of fun in the sun and enjoying the pool, you can end the day with a delicious meal in the restaurant.

Two story Polynesian style bungalows house newly renovated and redesigned guest rooms boasting sun kissed white walls with dark accents, all new furniture, and modern amenities. The guest rooms are located in two story, thatched roof buildings containing eight units. Most rooms, including STANDARD and SUPERIOR PREMIUM rooms. All rooms come with air conditioning, ceiling fans, coffee makers, televisions and mini refrigerators. Bathrooms feature a shower and toilet area separate from the sink. A stone sink sits atop the bathroom counter like a bowl and off to the side is the room's walk in closet. All balconies or patios have chairs and a hammock. Most kids really enjoy swaying in the hammocks. Cribs are available as are cots. Maximum occupancy for one unit is 2 adults and 1 child. The resort does offer connecting rooms -- a good solution for families with 2 children. These comfortable bungalows offer the perfect place to unwind after a busy day taking advantage of all the onsite amenities and activities of the resort.

The ideal location of the resort in Playa del Carmen allows visits to areas of great cultural and entertainment interest, such as the archaeological remains of Tulum or the fantastic cenotes of the Mexican Caribbean coastline. For families the Riviera Maya offers a wealth of off property outings and adventures. In nearby Playa del Carmen's shopping area, browse along the pedestrian only area, Avenida 5 (Fifth Avenue) for souvenirs. Scores of shops sell silver jewelry and T~shirts pottery as well as Mexican tablecloths, wall hangings and blankets. Break up the shopping with a snack at a local cafe or sample a churro, a fried pastry sold by local street vendors.
